They've changed the botanical source, so it's not so very pink, taken out the zinc oxide and increased the Titanium Dioxide. The result is a gorgeous, easy to apply product that is still 36 SPF & is just as effective. It contains the same antioxidants in the original version, and increased moisturizing qualities with the addition of Squalene. It is a lovely product! Questions? Results from Clinical Testing Among Leading Brands

Replenishing Sunblock SPF 36 Provides Superior Protection

Although many consumers choose sunscreen based on the SPF number, Dermatologists caution the public that SPF numbers only tell you how much UVB coverage the product gives. The more important protection is from the more dangerous UVA rays which can produce melanomas as well as most skin aging changes.   In a recent study, laboratory testing was performed to determine how much protection from UVA each of three sunscreen products provides. The results appear below:  

 

     

Conclusion: Replenishing Sunblock SPF 36 affords better protection against harmful long wavelength, UVA rays than either of the other two products.
