Glyco-BP Face & Body Wash?

It is a great twice-a-day cleanser for acne patients who have comedonal lesions (whiteheads and blackheads). It is also great for people who need to rotate their acne regimen because they have stopped getting results from what they are using. This truly unique blend of glycolic acid and benzoyl peroxide will often “jump start” a response to acne therapy.

Note: Please avoid using this product if you have BP (benzoyl peroxide) allergic skin. Have you used products containing benzoyl peroxide before? Clearasil or Oxy are examples of acne products with BP. If you have used these or similar products with no allergic reaction, then Glyco-BP Face & Body Wash is recommended.

Cosmedical Technologies' mild formulation is well-tolerated by patients who may be using other potentially irritation acne products, such as topical antiobiotics or Retin-A.

Apply small amount to clean fingertips. Work into a rich lather onto entire face. Leave on for 30 to 60 seconds, then rinse off with at least ten splashes of tepid water. Ideal for use on all oily or acne affected areas, including chest, back and bikini area.

Benzoyl Peroxide
Causes dead skin cells to slough off, killing the bacterium Porpionibacterium acnes that cause acne breakouts. It has an anti-inflammatory effect that reduces redness and inflammation while eliminating fatty acids on the skin.

Glycolic Acid
Lightly exfoliates and refines skin, helping unclog pores. This pure preparation of glycolic acid strips away dead skin cells and uncovers the youthful glowing skin under the surface. Glycolic acid also increases hyaluronic acid, a natural water-trapping molecule in the skin that diminishes with age.

Glycerin
Replenishes skin cell's natural moisture barrier to help smooth and hydrate skin. This light moisturizing emollient helps skin maximize moisture level by absorbing moisture from the air. It also attracts water to the skin, promoting healthy a skin lipid barrier.
