What Should a Good Cleanser Do?

Facial cleansers are only superficial cleansers, designed to loosen and lift excess sebum, dead skin cells, make up, pore debris, air pollutants, and various secretions from the surface of the skin. A well-balanced and gentle cleanser (a must!) cleans without damaging the natural pH or acid mantle of the skin or removing the protective lipid barrier.

Good skincare regimens, therefore, start with a gentle, non-soap, facial cleanser, chosen for your skin type. All our cleansers are soap-free, pH balanced, free of sodium lauryl sulfate (a known irritant) and utilize non-comedogenic lathering ingredients.  These cleansers jump start each skin care routine by washing away impurities and setting the foundation for the skin to receive vital nutrients from other treatment products. Formulated with hydrating, oil balancing and soothing botanicals, each cleanser will produce a remarkable improvement in your skin texture and hydration level.

Cleansers are usually rinsed away with warm to cool water. However, a trace of cleanser and pore debris will always remain on the skin. We feel it is best to way to remove any remaining debris or cleanser is with cotton pads dampened with toner.
